The International Sports Pharmacy Symposium (ISPS) is in its sixth year of providing a platform for thought leaders in sports pharmacy, clinical pharmacology, anti-doping, and sports integrity to come together for learning, networking and sharing best practices with any healthcare professionals interested in sports pharmacy.
This dedicated one-day event focuses on developments in pharmacological support for athletes, safe medication use in sports, cannabis conversations, training, and innovative therapeutic approaches in elite and recreational sports.
SPS offers in-depth knowledge transfer, interdisciplinary exchange between pharmacists, physicians, scientists, and anti-doping specialists, as well as practical insights into current challenges and future trends in sports pharmacology. In this rapidly growing professional field, well- qualified sports pharmacists are valuable to the sports healthcare team.
Participants will gain a comprehensive overview of sports pharmacy practices and inter-professional solutions that contribute to athlete health, performance, and sports integrity.
The Passing of the Torch will take place to the next annual Torch Bearer, a young and prominent sports pharmacist. The symposium will end with a guided networking session.
